DESCRIPTION

Pigmentation presents as sunspots, post-inflammatory hyper-pigmentation caused by trauma to the skin: insect bites, injuries, acne scarring or hormonally-induced pigmentation like melasma. We always recommend doing a Visia Skin Analysis first so our experienced aesthetician can correctly identify which subtype of pigmentation you have and determine the best treatment plan for you.

TREATMENTS

PIGMENTATION PEEL - SUPERICIAL & MEDIUM
A skin-resurfacing procedure in which a chemical solution is applied to the skin to peel away the accumulation of dead cells on the surface of the skin, enhancing cell renewal and increasing the moisture content of the skin.
Targets the appearance of uneven skin tone to improve sun-damage skin with pigmentation. It combines brightening agents with a peeling solution.
INTENSE PULSED DYE (IPL)
FDA approved in America for skin rejuvenation for sun-damaged skins and treatment of vascular (red) and pigmented (brown) skin disorders, by using short, safe bursts of carefully controlled filtered light. For brown marks on the skin, it targets melanin and for treatment of vascular problems, it targets haemoglobin which causes redness. In treating sun-damaged skin, both melanin and haemoglobin are treated.
DERMAPEN4 MEDICAL MICRO-NEEDLING
Dermapen4 creates tiny micro-punctures on the skin which the body treats as small wounds. It increases the production of collagen. As melanocytes (pigment producing cells) are directly targeted, a repair and corrective process encourages even skin tone for a smooth and radiant appearance.
